AutoMedic AI is operated by SBW CREDIT AND LIFE REPAIR LLC, trading as AutoMedic AI ("we", "us", "our"). SBW CREDIT AND LIFE REPAIR LLC is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice — meaning we decide how and why your data is processed.

• Account data — name, email address, login credentials. Used to create and secure your account. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Vehicle data — VIN, year, make, model, trim, engine, mileage, vehicle type, maintenance history. Used to provide diagnostics, maintenance tracking and health scores. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Diagnostic content — symptoms you describe, chat messages, photos you upload (warning lights, components, leaks, damage) and sound recordings. Used to generate diagnostic results. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Support messages — when you contact us. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data — telemetry, device identifiers and IP address. Used for security, fraud prevention and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Payment data (card details, billing address) is collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe, under its own privacy terms — we never see or store your full card number.

• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, analytics and AI processing providers that help us run the service, bound by data-processing terms.
• Stripe (payment processor) — for payment processing, tax calculation, fraud prevention, invoicing and subscription management.
• Repair shops — only when you explicitly send an estimate request: the issue details, vehicle information and the contact name and phone number you choose to share.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where needed.
• Authorities — where required by law.

We keep your data while your account is active. When data is no longer needed — for example after you delete your account — it is deleted or anonymised, except where the law requires us to keep it longer (for example transaction records kept for tax purposes).

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to complain to your data protection supervisory authority. We respond to requests within one month. To exercise any right, contact us through the support channels in the app.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and row-level isolation of each account's data.

We use essential cookies and storage required to keep you signed in and run the app, and limited analytics storage to understand product usage. We do not use third-party marketing cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; essential cookies are required for sign-in to work.
